The LAMBDA-CDM model, the worst model in all of science.

I should probably post some search prompts to allow the reader to do their own research:

Lambda-CDM model - Wikipedia
The ΛCDM ( Lambda cold dark matter) or Lambda-CDM model is a parameterization of the Big Bang cosmological model in which the universe contains three major components: first, a cosmological constant denoted by Lambda ( Greek Λ) associated with dark energy; second, the postulated cold dark matter (abbreviated CDM ); and third, ordinary matter.
LAMBDA - ΛCDM Model of Cosmology - NASA
As the universe continues to expand over time, the negative pressure associated with the cosmological constant (the form of dark energy in ΛCDM) increasingly dominates over opposing gravitational forces, and the expansion of the universe accelerates. Contributed by the NASA / LAMBDA Archive Team.
Lambda-CDM | Augustin Guyonnet - Harvard University
This is surprising because, after our own Milky-Way and (possibly) Andromeda, this is the third case of such corotating satellite galaxies, a dynamic that is not favored at all by the best current cosmological model, \(\Lambda\)-CDM (Dark Energy and Cold Dark Matter) which predicts that less than 5 per 1000 galaxies should exhibit such behavior.
LAMBDA - CDM Density - NASA
In ΛCDM, most of the Large Scale Structure in the universe is associated with cold dark matter. Dark matter is not easily detected, but its presence is inferred from gravitational effects such as lensing and galactic rotation curves.

I make my disdain for the terrible and unscientific models used over the years in climate change well known.
From the "Hockey Stick" model disaster to any of the constantly revised failed models which climate "scientists" are always messing with to get the outcome to match the parameters (if they aren't messing with the actual historical records themselves).  But there is a model which I have to admit, is EVEN WORSE than that fiasco, and that is the  LAMBDA-CDM model in use currently by the cosmology establishment.

What will the successor to the model look like?

^CDM (Lambda Cold Dark Matter)

What is it?  It is a model so ripe with assumption and false conclusions, so backed into a corner with ad hoc add-on patchwork fix-up jobs that it resembles a stream of consciousness brainstorming session rather than an elegant scientific theory with explanatory powers and predictive success.  In fact it is in the state its in precisely because of its failings in predictive success.  These failings have not resulted in introspection or a need to back to the drawing board and have a look at the alternatives with far superior predictive success, that are far more elegant, but has added an extra little bit each time it was "amazed" or "surprised" or "blown-away" by new discoveries which hubris prevents from being seen as failure, and instead we are invited to marvel at what an amazing, magical and basically supernatural place the universe we inhabit is appearing to be.

##### According to Wikipedia:
The ΛCDM (Lambda cold dark matter) or Lambda-CDM model is a parametrization of the Big Bang cosmological model in which the universe contains three major components: first, a cosmological constant denoted by Lambda (Greek Λ) and associated with dark energy; second, the postulated cold dark matter (abbreviated CDM); and third, ordinary matter. It is frequently referred to as the standard model of Big Bang cosmology because it is the simplest model that provides a reasonably good account of the following properties of the cosmos:
The model assumes that general relativity is the correct theory of gravity on cosmological scales. It emerged in the late 1990s as a concordance cosmology, after a period of time when disparate observed properties of the universe appeared mutually inconsistent, and there was no consensus on the makeup of the energy density of the universe.
The ΛCDM model can be extended by adding cosmological inflationquintessence and other elements that are current areas of speculation and research in cosmology.
Some alternative models challenge the assumptions of the ΛCDM model. Examples of these are modified Newtonian dynamicsentropic gravity, modified gravity, theories of large-scale variations in the matter density of the universe, bimetric gravity, and scale invariance of empty space.[1][2][3][4]

Its getting very difficult for me to watch any mainstream cosmology shows and have likes of Neil Degrasse-Tyson, Brian Cox, Brian Greene or Laurence Krauss go off at length about this model, and seeing some of the most corrupt establishment insiders, like Kip Thorne or James Peebles, win million dollar prize after million dollar prize for science that is quite patently nothing more than mathematical daydreaming with no bearing on reality whatsoever.

I am at the point where I have covered enough of the hogwash from this model to dispatch with it altogether, which I can do comprehensively and with confidence despite being an amateur in the field without feeling I match the establishment in hubris.  Its all common sense.  Yes, don't let them fool you into believing that YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND IT.  YOU CAN.

1) Lets Start with Dark Matter since its so easy to dispatch and sets the tone for tackling the rest.
https://dwahts.blogspot.com/2018/04/dark-matter-does-not-exist.html

2) Then lets look at the model they use for the sun and stars, which violates the first law of thermodynamics.

3a) Next lets look at the big bang and the expanding universe by addressing both redshift and the cosmic microwave background.

4) Are black holes hypothetical or a proven scientific fact? The answer may surprise you.

5) How did we get into this mess?  Here is how.
https://dwahts.blogspot.com/2019/10/assumptions-in-science-5-we-have-to.html

6) Are there alternatives?  Of course there are, here are three movements which I've put together in a comprehensive combined tutorial.
https://dwahts.blogspot.com/2019/08/plasma-cosmology-electric-universe-and.html

7) The standard model hoggs all the public funding with its wastful supercolliders, LIGO, CERN, The Large Hadron collider, are there any privately funded projects that don't rely on the blindness of the standard model? YES THERE ARE!
https://dwahts.blogspot.com/2019/09/solid-findings-emerging-from-safire.html

8) Because of the myopia resulting from this model, all the sciences but Cosmology are progressing, it is riding on the coat-tails of technology advances as NASA rides the coat-tails of brilliant engineers at JPL
