This is not a conclusion by any means, simply an exploration of the theme of scalability in the universe after looking at some dynamics in plasma physics and atomic theory.
The patterns and dynamics are all assigned to different phenomena yet it appears that the phenomena may all be more related and simply scalable ad infinitum over all orders of magnitude.
Perhaps this is worth paying attention to because the same shapes, forms, dynamics and relationships appear to manifest in very similar ways as we scale up or down.
Most notable is the torus "doughnut" shape and its spatial negative which is an hourglass shaped "figure 8" with a tailored looking waistline. It's often at that waist there will manifest a rotational disc bisecting what would more often than not be the north and south poles of the system. This disc would also form where the torus system is visible also rotating. around the same equatorial plane as where the waist of the hourglass is located. Both rotations/revolutions following the direction of magnetic force, that is to say the "right hand rule" to the direction of charge flow where we establish it is flowing.

Is the universe fractal?
Below is a fascinating discussion expanding upon the scalability of phenomena both upwards and downwards through orders of magnitude with respect to a fractal universe. If all the fundamental forces (Magnetism, gravity and the strong & weak nuclear forces) really are simply a manifestation of the electromagnetic force that would prove enlightening. There are are several viable dynamics at play which may someday allow for a far greater idea of reality.
