I woke up this morning to the sweetest irony I've been exposed to all year.  The NSA (the all seeing, all knowing, big brother department of the US government which has us all in it's cross-hairs globally) has been hacked, they have been spied on and their privacy has been violated!

Their malware is apparently being auctioned off for a small fortune in Bitcoin and without doubt some sort of loud and resounding message is being sent here.

It's fascinating because it starts at the top, the captains of industry and leaders of all the worlds most influential sectors have a yearly meeting where they all get a chance to hob-nob and.....

Do what exactly? Do your own research.  There is no other conceivable reason for these people to meet other than to maintain competitive advantage, and the recruitment of their latest two proteges, Google and Facebook, have made their jobs soooo much easier.

I am a blogger, and I blog about controversial and provocative subjects so I am far more likely to fall victim to this sort of mischief by the software programmers.  Without manipulation I am very much more likely to enter the realm of debate purely by the nature of what I blog about but I do careful research and the factually consistent nature of my posts makes it very difficult for the "tin foil hat" insult to stick. Somebody who takes issue with my views usually finds the burden of proof to much and retires from a discussion or debate.  It's like that when you argue for the truth instead of a baseless opinion, you are much more likely (in the long run) to be vindicated.  I completely understand why it would be much more effective to silence me or marginalize me and others like me(who take the time to research facts).

Scary?  It's already been done.  I've noticed it a bit but it's only when you dig a little deeper that the scary truth really emerges.

You will have to individually monitor each case, send screenshots, complain on the the community forum, report the topics they typically censor, try trial status updates with provocative words and experiment to see where they penalize you.  Whether you know it or not your contribution on Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, Twitter, Instagram and elsewhere is being managed under the pretense of "Spam Filtering"  It's done in this manner for PR purposes so that the overall user sentiment comes out in favor of the censorship, it's a clever angle in.

This is real. It's a reality and we need to start acting like grown-ups and taking accountability for how informed we are.  I no longet take it easy on ill informed, there is still enough freedom in information in todays world to be better informed and if you choose not to you are complicit in the crime.

Olympic Fail!

Personally as a former competitive swimmer I didn't really care about competitors taking drugs that don't really boost performance (they are in abundance and increasing on the petty "banned lists" yearly) and I don't get why drugs like alcohol and weed are banned for "not being in the spirit of sport"  I've seen many an athletes career ruined for what appears to me to be a risk not worth the reward and therefore a likely mistake.  It's almost like the ruling bodies want so many chemicals on the banned lists that when they need it, they have something on everyone. The only thing I care about is that the same standards are applied to everyone.

Michael Phelps has had his fair share of strife with substances, but in the end he carried on to be the most decorated Olympian in history.  His famous bong incidents and his DUI conviction seem relatively tame compared to Justin Gatlin and Tyson Gays bans for taking performance enhancing drugs, but at the end of the day all of them, and many more from the West are still free to compete, enjoy the glory and win medals for their nations.

Fast forward to today when we have hundreds of clean Russian athletes banned, not on positive dope tests like the above, but on the word of a "whistle-blower" Guilty until proven innocent. As crazy as it seems this is whats happening, and it's disgusting. Perhaps that's why these Olympics seem a bit of a let down.  Add it to the massive protests Brazilians are making due to having their president ousted and a US bankster stooge usurp her, perhaps it's the blanket ban that the Russian Track & Field team had to endure, who knows....

Why was the entire Kenyan team not banned? How come only the guilty officials were punished unlike in Russia?

Athletes who are greats in their sport, athletes who have been clean their entire careers cannot compete just because they are Russian, whereas American known cheats compete to the cheers of the world.  This is not right and we need to make talking about this clear politicizing of sport normal. Shame on everyone who has not called BS on this one!

There Is A New Sheriff In Town

After the disaster of the US involvement in Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria etc all did not bode well for the region.  The US called "oops" on each occasion but the clip from years ago by decorated general Wesley Clarke, among many others, tells a different tale. A tale of a coordinated and specific assault to dominate the strategically important oil region.  But they made a crucial mistake, one that is destined to be their undoing.

Quite simply they under-estimated Vladimir Putin.  They underestimated him and it has cost them dearly. Not only have their above-mentioned plans in Syria (Assad must go) been singularly undone, but their allies Saudi Arabia have been decimated in Yemen, their Afghan effort is in tatters, their NATO ally Turkey (after a failed US coup in the country) is now firmly in Russia's pocked and their Ukraine coup was a disaster while Putin's Crimea prospers like never before.

But how?  How did the best funded and most feared intelligence community fail so dismally?  To be honest I don't know.  All I know is that I have been tracking Putin's glowing CV for some time, and it is spectacular to say the least.  Spectacular in a time where the West is waging all sorts of sabotage against the emerging superpower that the Russian Federation has become.

The US looks to "Blame Putin" for everything from the DNC leaks to Donald Trump, but what they are really saying is that despite the gamesmanship, Putin is doing everything right and somehow still beating the US who do everything wrong just to gain advantage.   He has proven you can do the right thing and win, and this is a very important message to be sending in this new modern time.  In a cynical age this gives great energy to an emerging revolutionary class, one looking to unseat the empire of chaos from their throne of blood and steal their crown of thorns.  I, for one, am a fan.

The Case For Gold Gets Stronger

By now it's no secret that the Comex market is basically bogus.  It's a paper contracts markets settled in cash, almost never in delivered gold. It's been the mainstay of an arsenal of available weapons that interested parties can use to manipulate the gold price, here is my post from a year ago on the subject:

For a few years now I've been writing posts on a variety of different aspects of the gold price being manipulated, not just by market sculpting entities, not just because gold is a "safe-haven" investment in turbulent times (a superficial analysis which I hate because it cheapens the whole issue) but also by central banks that have have a vested interest in the inverse relationship between gold and fiat currency.  This is a key element that I often discuss because there are geopolitical (not just market) indicators we need to be following, and I don't see enough emphasis on this (obviously) by the talking head puppets on Bloomberg or MSNBC.

The key geopolitical factor is the icing over of relations between BRICS nations and the West, particularly Russia and China.  Those nations have been on an absolute gold buying binge.

Why?
